Our Instructors cover safety, action, operation and maintenance, and how to zero your rifle. Small class sizes for individual attention.
Requirements
60 rounds of ammunition, minimum 2 magazines, a semi-automatic carbine (or one can be rented for you). Bring a lunch , snack, and water. No open toed shoes. Ear and eye protection. This is a five-hour course. 3 hours Classroom / 2 hours Range.
Intermediate Carbine 200
Intermediate Carbine course that will challenge you and prepare you for the next level.
Description
Our instructors cover low ready and high ready positions, proper presentation, precision shooting drills, weak and strong hand drills, accuracy, and re-safety. Introduction to clearing of malfunctions and re engaging threats. Engaging multiple threats and re index of threats / threat identification. Magazine changes and engaging from stationary positions behind cover.
Requirements
180 rounds of ammunition, 3 magazines, carbine sling (one or two-point attachment) a semi-automatic carbine (or one can be rented for you). A belt mounted Carbine magazine pouch or chest rig is required. Bring a lunch , snack, and water. No open toed shoes. Ear and eye protection. This is a five-hour course. Classroom 3 hours, Range 2 hours. Students must have completed RRR Basic Carbine or NRA Basic Rifle or instructor permission with documentation.
Advanced Carbine 300
An advanced tactical carbine course designed to simulate real life stressors and engagements.
Description
Covers the following: Warm up / Battlefield Mindset. Re-confirm and zero optics and iron sights. Increasing carbine / rifle accuracy under real life stressors. Physiological effects of engagements. Target Failure Drills, Up Drills. Weak and strong hand drills. Low ready and high ready positions. Clearing of malfunctions during engagements, SPORTS, double feeds. Hold Off and use of red dot optics. Optic failure, transition to pop up iron sights. Engaging asymmetrical threats from cover and while moving. Tactical magazine changes, target identification / addressing threats. Multiple threat scenarios, re-index of threats and tactical egress. Written and Range exam.
